    5th IBSS Symposium

    The Black Sea region as an influential crossroad between East and West: A path towards extroversion

    Athens, Greece, 2 – 4 July 2012

     

    In its fifth year, the International Black Sea Symposium (IBSS) project builds on the success and positive impact of its previous four editions and brings together the next generation of stakeholders with an interest in the Black Sea area. The 5th International Black Sea Symposium on “The Black Sea region as an influential crossroad between East and West: a path towards extroversion” will be held in Athens, Greece, from 2 July to 4 July 2012. The ICBSS will welcome young professionals and international experts, for an intensive course on Black Sea issues.

    The event’s working language will be English.

    4th IBSS Symposium

     “The Black Sea Region in Transition: New Challenges and Concepts”
     
    From 19 September to 23 September 2011 the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) welcomed young professionals and international experts in Vouliagmeni, Attica, Greece, for an intensive course on Black Sea issues. The event’s working language was in English.

    2011 Summer School

    The 2011 Summer School in "Rescaling Government: Reforming public administration and local government", supported by EURA (European Urban Research Association) and EUROLOC was hosted and financially supported by the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), a related body of the Organisation of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) which serves as its acknowledged think-tank.
