Alternate Director General

Amb. David Kereselidze

David Kereselidze is the new Alternate Director General of ICBSS, since September 2011. He holds a Phd. on “Economy of international tourism in developing countries” from the Institute of World Economy and International Relations in Moscow.

Before joining the ICBSS, Amb. Kereselidze served as the Ambassador of Georgia to the Kindgdom of Denmark, the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Iceland for the period 2006-2011. During 1996-1999 he was the Deputy Head of the Georgian Embassy to the Hellenic Republic, in 1999-2006 Mr. Kereselidze holds the position of the Director of International Economic and Humanitarian Relations Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Amb. David Kereselidze was a Georgian Senior Official in BSEC as well as represented Georgia in different BSEC structures - Alternate Governor in the BSTDB (1997-2005), National Director in the ICBSS Board of Directors (1999-2006). In the period of 1999-2000 he has been also a negotiation team member on the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Oil Pipeline and Transcaspian Gas Pipeline Projects.
