4BIZ Project wins Best Project Award!

The 4BIZ Project received the Best Project Award at the Black Sea Project Awards ceremony, that was held in Bucharest, on 23 November 2023, within the context of the Black Sea Stakeholder Conference.
The Black Sea Project Awards is an initiative designed to recognize outstanding projects aligned with the three goals of the Common Maritime Agenda for the Black Sea (CMA). The awards seek to identify exceptional projects across various domains, showcasing innovative and replicable solutions that embody the CMA's main objectives and priorities for the Black Sea sustainable blue economy.
4BIZ and DBAN projects shared the Best Project Award in the category of “Fostering Investment in the Black Sea Blue Economy”. The Award was received by the 4BIZ Project Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Eden Mamut, Secretary General of the Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN).
The 4BIZ Project aims to develop a collaboration framework that will bring together Blue Economy stakeholders in EU and eligible non-EU Black Sea countries to identify and tackle local capacity building needs to boost innovation, digitalization and investment in the Black Sea Blue Economy with the main focus on Fisheries and Aquaculture, Coastal and Maritime Tourism and Maritime Transport.
The ICBSS is a core partner of the 4BIZ project, in charge of promoting inter-basin cooperation and knowledge exchange.
The 4BIZ project has received funding from the European Union’s European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) under Grant Agreement 101077576.
