Museum – Republic of North Macedonia

The Osten Museum of Drawing is an important cultural centre in the Republic of North Macedonia. It opened its doors in 2012 and is located in the city of Skopje.

The museum focuses on the promotion of new artistic trends and young emerging artists, as well as the recognition of those who have already left their lasting marks on the arts by granting the World Cultural Heritage Award.

The Osten Museum of Drawing hosts both solo and group exhibitions, and the most common theme of them is related to minimalist painting.

Most of the exhibited artists are from the Republic of North Macedonia. However, the museum also hosts artists from other countries, including France, Spain, Italy, and Germany. It has also exhibited works by renowned personalities, such as Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse.

As part of its activities, the museum has participated twice - in 2019 and 2021 - in the Art Thessaloniki International Contemporary Fair in Greece.
