Working Meeting of the ICBSS Director General with the Secretary General of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On 10 December 2025, the ICBSS Director General, Mr. Georgios Mitrakos, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. David Karapetyan, in Athens, Greece.
On the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Greece and in cooperation with the ICBSS, the meeting was organised on the occasion of Mr. Karapetyan’s visit to Athens for the 9th Ministerial Meeting of the Forum of Ancient Civilisations.
During the discussion, the two sides reviewed the significance of the August 8 agreements, exchanged views on the Crossroads of Peace initiative and the “TRIPP Route” program, and touched upon recent global and regional developments. They also explored opportunities for closer collaboration with the ICBSS, particularly within the framework of the upcoming Yerevan Dialogue conference.
This visit highlights the ICBSS’s ongoing commitment to promoting regional cooperation, advancing knowledge exchange, and fostering dialogue that supports sustainable development and integration across the Black Sea region and beyond.
The renewed collaboration reaffirms the commitment of both organisations to advancing understanding, dialogue, and regional cooperation in the Black Sea area.
