5th General Assembly Meeting

On 16-18 September 2026, ICBSS Junior Project Manager, Ms. Elpida Besi, participated at the 5th TOURAL Project General Assembly, held in Tulcea, Danube Delta, Romania. The meeting was organised and hosted by the project partner, Association Local Action Group Danube Delta (GAL DD).
During the meeting, project partners discussed the work that has been completed and the next steps until the end of the project this year. The meeting focused on stakeholder engagement, individualisation of business models, development of ICT tools, tourism products and services, as well as the elaboration of a roadmap for the replication of project’s outputs.
As part of TOURAL activities, project partners participated in a guided tour of the natural and cultural heritage across the Danube Delta. This included Tulcea, one of the TOURAL six pilot sites for the sustainable development of the UCCST tourism markets. Partners also visited the town of Sulina and the Mila 23 village.
The ICBSS leads WP2 on Cultural and Creative Tourism (CCT) Analysis & Policy Pathways aiming at stakeholders' engagement and co-creation of policies and business models.
