1st International Black Sea Symposium
“The Wider Black Sea Area in Perspective”

The 2008 International Symposium was not just another set of university-style lectures. After each round of lectures, which are mandatory, participants split up into study groups (SG). Study groups met on a daily basis starting from Thursday 3rd of July. Each study group, after consulting the Reading Material and analysing the content of each of the lectures, focused on a main issue dealing with the wider Black Sea area and their objective to elaborate and reflect on the related question(s)/case studies addressed to their groups.
