54th Meeting of the Board of Directors of the ICBSS

The 54th Meeting of the Board of Directors of the ICBSS was held online, on Tuesday 13 January 2026, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Nairi Petrossian, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the BSEC Organization.
In his opening speech, BSEC PERMIS Deputy Secretary General, Ambassador Dimitrios Rallis, underlined the important role of ICBSS as BSEC related body. He also reiterated the significance of further strengthening the BSEC PERMIS-ICBSS collaboration on multiple priorities and projects.
The Members of the Board approved the ICBSS Report of Activities for 2025 and took positive note of the plan of action for 2026, as presented by the ICBSS Director General, Mr. Georgios Mitrakos.
The ICBSS Board of Directors expressed its satisfaction with the innovative and productive activities of the ICBSS Management and Team.
During the course of the meeting, Mr. Nairi Petrossian was elected as Chair of the ICBSS Board of Directors and Mr. Georgios Mitrakos was re-elected as ICBSS Director General.
The ICBSS is governed by an international Board of Directors, consisting of senior representatives from the diplomatic and academic communities of 12 Member States, the BSEC PERMIS Secretary General, the ICBSS Director General and personalities of international standing.
