Participation of ICBSS Director General, Mr. Georgios Mitrakos, at the Three Seas Initiative Business Forum 2024

On 10-12 April 2024, the ICBSS Director General, Mr. Georgios Mitrakos, participated at the Three Seas Initiative Summit and Business Forum 2024, held in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Upon invitation of Dr. Łukasz Murzyn, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, University of the National Education Commission in Krakow, Poland, Mr. Mitrakos participated at the launch event of the Three Seas Initiative Cultural Cooperation Network, followed by the Conference “3SI cultural cooperation area. Art and science, public policies, education and business”, held on 10 April 2024.
On 11 April 2024, at the sidelines of the 3SI Business Forum, Mr. Mitrakos had a working meeting with the delegation of the 3SI Research Centre of the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, following on the latter’s recent visit in Athens, Greece (here).
The ICBSS Director General attended also other various side events of the Three Seas Initiative Summit & Business Forum, inter alia, the P-E-A-C-E’22 Dialogue "Empower & Integrate for Social Inclusion and Peacebuilding" organised by the Lithuanian Social Business Association; the International Scientific Conference “The Three Seas Initiative: One Concept, Different Approaches?” co-organised by Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, the Three Seas Initiative Research Center of ISP PAN and the University of Lodz; the Conference “The Geopolitics of Three Seas Initiative - Next 10 Years” organised by the Croatian-based think-tank New Frontier Foundation; the Workshop “Skilled Talent Drives Digital Advancement in the Three Seas Initiative” organised by the Women Go Tech and CEE Digital Coalition; the special event on “Interactive Session on the Ukraine's Recovery & Reconstruction: Instruments for Private Sector Involvement” co-organised by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania and the Innovation Agency Lithuania.
This working visit is part of the ICBSS’ goals to foster dialogue, share knowledge and build partnerships across regions, towards supporting sustainability and development in the wider Black Sea area.
