Participation of ICBSS Director General at the “Three Seas Initiative Summit & Business Forum 2025”

On 27 - 29 April 2025, the ICBSS Director General, Mr. Georgios MITRAKOS, participated at the “Three Seas Initiative Summit & Business Forum”, in Warsaw, Poland.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Three Seas Initiative, the "Three Seas Initiative Presidential Summit", opened with a jubilee session hosted by the President of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Andrzej Duda, on 28 April 2025. During the Summit, discussions focused on future investments within the 3SI cooperation format, including the development of energy and transport infrastructure, as well as security issues in the region.
At the sidelines of the Three Seas Initiative Summit & Business Forum, Mr. Mitrakos also participated at the side events "Three Seas One Opportunity: Welcome to Warsaw", an expert precursor to the official discussions at the Three Seas Summit, organised by the “Opportunity Institute for Foreign Affairs”, on 27 April 2025; and “The Three Seas Initiative: The Economic Dimension of Intra-EU Cooperation”, co-organised by the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences (ISPPAN), the University of Łódź and the Three Seas Business Council (TSBC), held on 29 April 2025.
These events provided a space for exchanges between representatives of academia, politics and experts from the Three Seas countries in order to promote cooperation in the fields of energy, transport and digital infrastructure, new investments, economic growth and energy security.
This working visit aligns with ICBSS’ commitment to fostering dialogue, sharing knowledge and building partnerships to promote sustainability and development in the wider Black Sea region and beyond.
