Cinema-Albania and Republic of North Macedonia 

The short films ‘’Where are you now?’’ (Albania) and ‘’North Pole’’ (Republic of North Macedonia) were awarded in the 12^th ‘’Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival’’. The BBB Jury team 2021 gave their personal Special Mentions to the short films that touched them most according to their perceptions, and the aforementioned productions were two of them.

Moreover, the First Entry Award and the BBB AUDIENCE AWARD were given to the animation film ‘’Butterfly and Mouse’’ (Bulgaria) and to the short film ‘’Plastic Dream’’ (Turkey), respectively.

“Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival” featured a program of 33 short films Balkan productions and co-productions representing young filmmakers from the whole Balkan region.
