Contextualization of Art & Culture in relation to the national sociopolitical context – a report for ALF Hellas

Within the framework of the 2023 Annual Program of the Anna Lindh Foundation Hellas, the ICBSS, a member of ALF Hellas, has carried out a comprehensive analysis in the thematic priority “Art & Culture”, in relation to the national socio-political environment. The present publication includes the results of the said analysis, highlighting challenges and identifying available tools and frameworks for art and culture within the Greek social and political context.
The report responds to the relevant Call for Applications for the implementation of Track 1.2: “Contextualization of Network thematic priorities in relation to the national socio-political context” launched by ALF Hellas, in spring 2023.
Methodologically, the report was based on desk research and an online survey among the ALF Hellas members, during the period October 2023 – February 2024. The structure of the publication follows the template provided by the Anna Lindh Foundation for this purpose.
