On 11 December 2024, the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) welcomed at its premises a delegation of researchers from the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (HIIA).

The 53rd Meeting of the ICBSS Board of Directors was held online, on Tuesday 10 December 2024.

On 29 November – 1 December 2024, the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) joined the EcoPeace Middle East in organising successfully the Regional Workshop “Promoting Climate Change Action Across the Black Sea and the Middle East”.

The European Urban Research Association (EURA) and the Standing Group on Local Government & Politics of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR), in collaboration with the ICBSS, are organising a joint PhD Summer School to be held in Athens, Greece, on 1- 4 September 2025.

On 26 November 2024, the ICBSS welcomed at its premises a group of young students from Greece, Poland and the Czech Republic, as part of a youth mobility project under the Erasmus+ EU programme for education, training, youth and sport.

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (25 November), ICBSS publishes a new infographic with data from the 13 BSEC countries.

On 15 November 2024, ICBSS Junior Project Manager, Ms. Elpida Besi, participated at the Youth for Future Cooperation – on the road to Interreg GO! event, held in Brussels, Belgium.
