On 14 July 2026, the ICBSS published a new Research Paper titled “Ukraine: The Demographic Cost of War”, by Dr. Ella Libanova, Professor at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

On 10 July 2026, ICBSS Director General, Mr. Georgios Mitrakos, participated at the online expert meeting “The EU and Asian States: Towards a Sustainable Cooperation. Opportunities for Romania”, organised by the European Institute of Romania (EIR).

On Tuesday 7 July 2026, the ICBSS organised successfully an event for the presentation of the Priorities of the Hellenic Chairmanship-in-Office at the BSEC Organization, hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, in Athens.

On 15 June 2026, the ICBSS Director General, Mr. Georgios Mitrakos, addressed the 52nd Meeting of the Council of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA) of the BSEC Member States, held online.

On Wednesday 10 June 2026, the ICBSS Director General, Mr. Georgios Mitrakos, participated at the Eco-Innovation Challenge (EIC) Shark Tank Event in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, organised by UNOPS.

On 19 – 21 May 2026, ICBSS Junior Project Manager, Ms. Elpida Besi, participated at the 4th TOURAL Project General Assembly, held in Pineto, Teramo Province, Italy.

On Friday 22 May 2026, the ICBSS in cooperation with the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, organised successfully the Round-Table Discussion “The environmental impact of the war on the Black Sea”, held in a hybrid format, in Athens, Greece.
