Architecture – Moldova

Famous for its wine production, its history of winemaking started around 3000 years ago. One of the most well known landmarks is the Castel Mimi Winery which is currently listed among the most beautiful architectural masterpieces in the world of wine.

Its story begins in 1893 when Constantin Mimi, governor and winemaker, planted the first grape vines on the place that would become legend over the years.

The biggest attraction of the winery is the chateau and its cellars. The winery is located in Bulboaca village, in the area of Codru, where a unique microclimate and soil exist. As a result, the five types of Castel Mimi wines are intense and aromatic.
